Brentwood
Located about ten minutes south of Nashville, Brentwood is considered perhaps the most affluent of all the suburbs. Also, as with its neighbor to the south, Franklin, Brentwood features quite a few historic spots, if you know where to look. In all, it’s a fascinating town that might just be your new home.
Shopping, of course, is plentiful. Several shopping centers are scattered throughout the town, with various department and grocery stores. You’ll also find smaller stores located in and around these centers, where designer clothing and other unusual finds can be purchased. For those who prefer not to shop at Kroger or other major grocery chains, the Fresh Market is an excellent alternative. If you need more from which to choose, Brentwood shares the Cool Springs area with Franklin. Just a few minutes south, you’ll find Cool Springs Galleria and the hundreds of other stores located here.
Be prepared for the home prices in the area if you hope to move to Brentwood. The subdivisions feature large homes with plenty of land, and the prices reflect this accordingly. Many of the older homes are ranch-style houses that have been remodeled and updated with the very latest in décor and appliances. Most of the residences are new construction or have been built within the last ten to fifteen years. Brentwood is extremely convenient for those who wish to commute to Nashville, but the city also offers many opportunities for employment. The Cool Springs area is home to dozens of different national and international company headquarters, and you might prefer that commute just a bit more. Wherever you work, you can be sure that where you live is safe, comfortable, roomy, and beautiful.
