➺ Family Style: Where to Dine in Nashville with a Group

Coming into the holiday season, sharing and celebrating are definitely on the menu! Choosing a place to do so, however, isn’t always so easy. Luckily for us, some of Nashville’s best restaurants are set up for ideal bites sharing, drinks toasting, and special occasion celebrating.

Here’s our guide to go-to places for dinner with friends, including what we like to order.

Arnold’s Country Kitchen
When you want some southern home cooked comfort food, look no further. From fried chicken to meatloaf to all the fixings you can share, you can’t go wrong.

Martin’s BBQ
Try the new 13,000 sq ft location on Belmont Blvd for all your BBQ needs. Each friend can get a different meat and sides, and then pass around to share.

DeSano Pizza Bakery
If you are looking for authentic Italian pizza, this is the spot for you. Order up a couple pizzas and pass them around the table. What better way to enjoy carbs than to have numerous options of toppings on said carbs?

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
Here’s a fun idea. Everyone orders a different level of heat on their chicken. Then mix it up and everyone has a piece to represent the different spice levels. Just make sure you note which was in the clucking hot piece!

Confession…we could eat tacos every day of the week. We also love the atmosphere bartaco offers. We always make sure to ask about the special taco of the day. But you can’t go wrong with the tortilla soup, plantains, or the chicken tacos! Order some appetizers, and try at least one of every taco on the menu to pass around your group.

Nashville’s best spot for sharing, Monell’s is a Nashville tradition that’s perfect for a big group celebration or even a holiday when no one wants to do the cooking. Serving soul foods family style, you’ll feel right at home passing the potatoes. Prepare to eat seconds, and maybe even thirds.
